A couple of new features are available and will be presented here:

Firstly, you will now get notified when any of your contacts have written anything new in their blogs, through the Unread messages box. What? Contacts? Yes, if you're old school (which you aren't, since you're on the English version of TG which isn't old at all) you surely remember that you could add and remove other members as your contacts. That feature will return soon.

Add external blog
Secondly, there's the new ability to mirror external blogs in your TG residence. TG does offer a built-in blogging system, but many members may already maintain a blog somewhere else. If this is the case and you don't feel like writing here as well, but still think your dear TG friends should be kept up to date with your fascinating life, external blog mirroring is for you. If you click Settings in the menu and then Blog, you can specify which blogging service you use and your user name. Blogger, LiveJournal, MSN Spaces, Blogg.se and Blog.central.is are currently supported. I will probably add more, if you miss a service please suggest it in the forum. I will also make it possible for people who have blogs at their own domains to mirror them.

When you post a new entry at your blog, it will also show up in your TG residence and at Tidings. The entry can't be commented on here, but links directly to the entry at the external blog. Please note that entries will only be mirrored about four times per day initially, so it may take a few hours before the new entry shows up on TG.

Even if you choose to mirror your external blog, you can still use the built-in blog if you want to post content exclusively for your TG brothers and sisters.

This blog is best read at tsargustaf.com!If you mirror your blog, feel free to post an entry containing the beautiful image to the right (or not). If you can make your readers join TG and mirror their blogs as well, you'll automatically get notified when they have written anything new (as soon as the contact lists start functioning again - working on it) and everybody wins!
